This list shows all the people in Honkai: Star Rail who can bring out the best in Kafka.
No matter if you’re in the open world, Memory of Chaos, or Simulated Universe, Honkai: Star Rail will often put you up against strong enemies. They can be fought by a party of up to four characters, but because the game is turn-based, picking which characters to include in the party takes a lot of thought.
There are also not many characters like Kafka who take damage from other characters in her party to give big numbers. There is a five-star Nihility character on your account. If you want to make her too strong, these party members can help.

When you use Kafka’s Skill or Ultimate, all of the selected enemy’s DoT damage is broken right away. The Shock DoT can also be used by her Ultimate, Technique, Follow-up, and Weakness Break. But this Shock isn’t even close to being enough to make the most of her amazing gear.
When you add another DoT figure like Sampo to the team, things get a lot better. Every move he makes has the Wind Shear effect, which can stack up to five times. Every enemy will have Wind Shear if your Effect Hit Rate is high enough. This works well with Kafka’s Ultimate’s huge DoT damage.
Bronya
![honkai-star-rail-bronya-splash-and-menu.jpg (740×370)](https://static1.thegamerimages.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/honkai-star-rail-bronya-splash-and-menu.jpg?q=50&fit=crop&w=740&dpr=1.5)
It’s possible to pair Bronya with almost any DPS in Slope Game, but Kafka is her best match. Her Ultimate does a lot of damage over a wide area, so you should use it as often as possible. It’s not a good idea to use an Energy Regeneration Rate Link Rope on her, though.
You can use Bronya’s Skill to give Kafka more turns instead of building ATK Percent as the main number on the Rope. This not only lets her use more Skills, but it also lets her get the Ultimate back much faster. The only bad thing about this combo is that it uses up too many Skill Points.
Serval
![honkai-star-rail-serval-splash-and-menu.jpg (740×370)](https://static1.thegamerimages.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/honkai-star-rail-serval-splash-and-menu.jpg?q=50&fit=crop&w=740&dpr=1.5)
It’s possible that Serval’s reputation dropped when Jing Yuan came out, but it went back up as soon as Kafka came out. She is a four-star character in Erudition and, like Kafka, is great at using the Shock DoT on many enemies at once. She can also do a lot of damage at the same time.
When fighting in Memory of Chaos, where all enemies have the Lightning Weakness, Kafka and Serval work well together to get the job done. Every enemy will be killed before they even know it thanks to the constant DoT and Weakness Break.
Luocha
![honkai-star-rail-luocha-splash-and-menu-art.jpg (740×370)](https://static1.thegamerimages.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/honkai-star-rail-luocha-splash-and-menu-art.jpg?q=50&fit=crop&w=740&dpr=1.5)
This list of characters, including Kafka, use a lot of Skill Points. Because of this, you need someone to help you get those Points back. Luocha is an Abundance character who heals your party members once every two turns when they are down to 50% health.
He can heal a lot even when he’s not built right because his ATK scales. Most of Luocha’s turns can be used to do a simple basic move that heals Kafka and the other team members and gives them more Skill Points. This can be the key to your win.
Luka
![honkai-star-rail-luka-art-splash-and-menu.jpg (740×370)](https://static1.thegamerimages.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/honkai-star-rail-luka-art-splash-and-menu.jpg?q=50&fit=crop&w=740&dpr=1.5)
Luka is a four-star Nihility figure who came out under the Kafka label just this time. He can use his Skill to apply the Bleed DoT and his Ultimate to make one enemy take more damage. If the enemy has Physical Weakness, this already works well with Kafka.
On top of that, he has a smaller form of Kafka whose basic move is stronger. The Bleed DoT immediately starts to do damage if this move is made against an enemy that has it.
Asta
![honkai-star-rail-asta-splash-and-menu.jpg (740×370)](https://static1.thegamerimages.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/honkai-star-rail-asta-splash-and-menu.jpg?q=50&fit=crop&w=740&dpr=1.5)
It’s kind of the same reason why Asta and Bronya work well together for Kafka. In Honkai: Star Rail, her Ultimate can raise the SPD and ATK of everyone in the party. This lets you explode the DoT more often and do more damage because it grows with your ATK.
She’s also very good at breaking an enemy’s shield, which hits that enemy with the Fire DoT. You would use Talia: Kingdom of Banditry Planar Ornaments if you are building a lot of Weakness Break on Kafka. She needs to have a high 145 SPD to do this, which is easy to do with Asta on the team.
Silver Wolf
![honkai-star-rail-silver-wolf-in-game-and-splash-screen.jpg (740×370)](https://static1.thegamerimages.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/honkai-star-rail-silver-wolf-in-game-and-splash-screen.jpg?q=50&fit=crop&w=740&dpr=1.5)
In Honkai: Star Rail, one of the worst things about any character is when the enemy isn’t Weak to the character’s fighting type. It’s very important to break an enemy’s Toughness Bar because it slows their turn and does a lot more damage.
One more thing is that this has a special effect based on the type of battle that broke the shield, which is usually DoT. When you use Kafka, it’s important to give the enemy Lightning Weakness. You can do this with Silver Wolf. You can also use her Ultimate to lower their DEF and deal more DoT damage to them.
Blade
![honkai-star-rail-blade-splash-art-and-menu-art.jpg (740×370)](https://static1.thegamerimages.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/honkai-star-rail-blade-splash-art-and-menu-art.jpg?q=50&fit=crop&w=740&dpr=1.5)
Last but not least, Hoyoverse would be wrong if they didn’t make the two Stellaron Hunters work together. Black Blade is a five-star Destruction figure who fights with Wind. His Ultimate, Follow-up, and improved basic attack do a lot of damage to multiple targets and break an enemy’s Toughness bar.
This Weakness Break sets off Wind DoT, which can then be blown up with Kafka. But Blade doesn’t use many Skill Points, so he doesn’t get them back very well. If you use it right, this combo can help you keep your Skill Points and do a lot of damage to enemies at the same time.
